Our Story
Born on the Steppe
"Tala" (тала) means "the open steppe" in Mongolian. We are a small, locally-owned team of guides, drivers and herder families based in Ulaanbaatar, sharing the country we love with travellers from around the world.
For over a decade we have designed private journeys that go beyond the postcard: mornings with nomad families, nights in gers under the Milky Way, and roads that end where the real Mongolia begins.
Every tour on this site is operated by us - no middlemen, no big-bus groups. Just honest Mongolian hospitality.
